Located at Whistler Creekside — a townhouse featuring a black fireplace with gold powder hydro wax.
Of course, we used Cover It plaster for this project.
We used Marmorino Fine Glossy — a fine-grain Venetian plaster with remarkable trowel movement and depth.
Marmorino Fine is a timeless finish that has been widely utilized in Venetian interiors for centuries. The finish features a smooth and polished surface that can be burnished to varying degrees of gloss.

𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲, in interior design, is never a neutral choice.
It’s a 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲.

A warm, textured white — as of a lime-based marmorino or Venetian plaster — receives the light and reflects it back with depth, vibration, and in a natural way. It isn’t flat, it isn’t cold: it’s alive.
With white walls, every furnishing element finds its own expression. Bold colors take center stage, while softer tones gain elegance and harmony. White doesn’t compete — it enhances.

And then there’s an aspect we particularly love.
𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺. Because there isn’t just one “white”: it can be optical, soft, warm, enveloping. It’s a range of nuances to interpret, choose, and feel.

More than a color, it’s a starting point.

È una 𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗶 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲.

Un bianco caldo e materico, come quello di un marmorino o di uno stucco veneziano a base di calce, accoglie la luce e la restituisce con profondità, vibrazione, naturalezza. Non è piatto, non è freddo: è vivo.
Con pareti bianche, ogni elemento d’arredo trova spazio per esprimersi. I colori vivaci diventano protagonisti, quelli più tenui acquistano eleganza e armonia. Il bianco non compete: valorizza.

E poi c’è un aspetto che amiamo particolarmente.
𝗜𝗹 𝗯𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗶. Perché “bianco” non è uno solo: può essere ottico, morbido, caldo, avvolgente. È una gamma di sfumature da interpretare, scegliere, sentire.

Più che un colore, è un punto di partenza.

The Pantone Color of the Year speaks of light.

𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 is the Pantone Color of the Year 2026, a breath of calm in a world full of stimuli. An invitation to simplify, lighten, and remove excess, restoring balance and opening space for creativity and visual well-being.
As every year, we turned to our Color Sampling Department to interpret it through one of our lime putty–based marmorinos and Venetian plasters.

This time, the challenge is unique: Cloud Dancer is very close to white, and lime is... white! A vibrant, textured, naturally warm white. Not optical, not cold, but the white of raw material, where light rests on the surface, enhancing depth and subtle vibrations.
Anyone wishing to create a wall inspired by Cloud Dancer can therefore do so even without adding pigment, simply letting lime speak in its pureness.

For us at Coverit, so passionate about lime putty, the Pantone Color of the Year 2026 felt like a gift and a chance to celebrate our favorite raw material, starting with its natural color.

Il Pantone dell’anno parla di luce.

𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 è il colore Pantone dell’anno 2026, un respiro di calma in un mondo pieno di stimoli. Un invito a semplificare, alleggerire e togliere il superfluo, ritrovando equilibrio e aprendo spazi.
E, come ogni anno, abbiamo approfittato del nostro reparto Campionatura Colore per interpretarlo attraverso uno dei nostri marmorini e stucchi veneziani a base di grassello di calce.

Ma quest’anno la sfida è speciale: Cloud Dancer è molto vicino al bianco, e la calce… ha già il suo. Un bianco vibrante, materico, naturalmente caldo. Non ottico né freddo, ma quello della materia, dove la luce si posa sulla superficie esaltandone profondità e vibrazioni.
Potete quindi realizzare una parete ispirata a Cloud Dancer senza utilizzare colore, lasciando parlare la calce nella sua purezza.

Per noi di Coverit, così appassionati di grassello di calce, il Pantone dell’Anno 2026 è un dono: un'opportunità per celebrare la nostra materia prima prediletta, a partire dal suo colore naturale.
