The Metapontino’s regional planning remains unchanged throughout 1700 until, with the suppression of the monastic orders, in 1807 the laws of feudalism abolitive allowed for new and large settlements such as deposits, iazzi and farms.
L’assetto territoriale del Metapontino rimase immutato per tutto il 1700 finchè, con la soppressione degli ordini monastici, nel 1807 le leggi abolitive della feudalità permisero la presenza di nuovi e grandi insediamenti come depositi, iazzi e masserie.
