The ancient small town of Roman origin called Bevagna is to be found on the western fringe of the Foligno plain, at the foot of the group of hills where Montefalco rises up and near the loop of the river Timia.

dal 30 luglio al 19 agosto, il borgo si anima con l'Agosto Montefalchese,
la manifestazione che celebra la storia, le tradizioni e l'identitร  della cittร  attraverso spettacoli, musica, rievocazioni storiche e sapori autentici.

Cuore della festa รจ la Fuga del Bove, che vede sfidarsi i quattro Quartieri Sant'Agostino, San Bartolomeo, San Fortunato e San Francesco
in un susseguirsi di cortei storici, gare di sbandieratori e tamburini, spettacoli, prove di abilitร  e, il 19 agosto, con l'attesissima Corsa dei Bovi che assegna il Falco d'Oro.

Un'occasione speciale per vivere Montefalco tra storia, emozioni e convivialitร , passeggiando tra vicoli, piazze e taverne dei Quartieri.
