Well, with Russia and Japan the map of the countries of origin of Residenza Palazzo Marchesini - Bologna Guests has turned yellow 👏👏👏. The view is impressive: I would never have thought that in two and a half years of activity we would have hosted people from 40 different countries... I always say that this is the best aspect of Host's work: meeting people from all over the world... 👍
Now I know that other people will arrive from new countries. We are waiting for them with great enthusiasm!

First arrivals from Liechtenstein! Anna, Lina, Julius, with their parents Sabine and Michael came to visit our wonderful city 👍. Could we not offer them an aperitif on the splendid terrace of Residenza Palazzo Marchesini - Bologna ❓ I would say no❗❗❗
A family of nice and lovable people that we hope to see again as soon as possible. Remember us and Bologna!

Breakfast and aperitif in Bologna: Muskan and Anish spent a few days in Residenza Palazzo Marchesini - Bologna 👏. And it can't be said that they didn't like the town 👍. After all, it has everything: architecture, good food and, these days, wonderful weather 🙃. About them I can only say that they were two ideal hosts, nice, kind and polite: I really hope they come back soon, even if Australia is a bit far away...✈✈✈

Spring is coming (or rather, it should have already arrived!). If you are a hiker or cyclist, we can only recommend "La via degli Dei" (The Way of the Gods): a splendid route from Bologna to Florence of 130 km (80 miles), which you can travel all or just part of, with intermediate stops. Departure from Residenza Palazzo Marchesini - Bologna and arrival where you like! You can also reach by train at an intermediate stop (e.g. Sasso Marconi) and start from there. For more information I recommend La Via degli Dei or the website www.viadeglidei.it.
NOTE: along the way there are refreshment points, restaurants and B&Bs.
REMEMBER: Bologna is a wonderful city, and its surroundings are no exception!

Kim has returned to our B&B 👏. It's always nice when a guest returns: the first consideration is that in the past she had a good time at Residenza Palazzo Marchesini - Bologna (and that's what makes us happy the most)👍. The second that maybe she loved Bologna. The third is that maybe she could come back next year ✈... Come on Kim, we're waiting for you: we like nice and kind people! 👏

It's been a while since we counted the countries of origin of Residenza Palazzo Marchesini - Bologna Guests, and we were very surprised when we realized that, with India, we reached 37 countries 😱!
This is certainly something that fills us with pride 👏, but I won't hide from you that we aspire to further increase this number 👍.
Who knows.... in the coming months there could be some surprises.... 😉

Sonke, Khushnu and Ananya, their daughter, have come to Residenza Palazzo Marchesini - Bologna 👏, filling our dining room with warmth and friendliness. They told me they enjoyed Bologna and hope to see them again one day, even if India is far away... For now, I wish them a good continuation of their journey!✈

A volte succede... Sono arrivati degli ospiti a Residenza Palazzo Marchesini - Bologna, in questo caso Anna Fanky e Davide (dalla zona di Milano) e ci è sembrato di conoscerli da sempre...👍 Persone di una simpatia e di una gentilezza rare 👏. Poi sono ovviamente ripartite e questa volta ci è dispiaciuto moltissimo😭. Cercate di tornare presto: qui Vi aspettiamo, magari con la prole!👏

Leah Morgan, Edel Morgan and Cyril passed through Bologna and stayed at Residenza Palazzo Marchesini - Bologna 👏. They are from Ireland, and it seems they enjoyed Bologna, its cuisine and our breakfasts, even if they had little time to be tourists...
We are sorry they had to leave, but we hope they will come back soon, maybe to visit our beautiful city better 👍.
