Art is part of every stay at Laurin.
Every room at Parkhotel Laurin features an original work of art — and the story behind it can be discovered on the sleeve of your room key card.
In three of our rooms, that story leads to Adolf Vallazza.
Born in Ortisei in 1924 into a family of artists, Vallazza became one of South Tyrol’s most distinctive sculptors, known especially for his work with wood, monumental totems and archaic, symbolic forms. His works have entered important museum collections in Bolzano and throughout Italy.
In Room 203, two watercolour and pencil studies titled Totem, dated 1981, offer a different look at his artistic language — the same strong forms, translated onto paper.
Three rooms. Three encounters with Vallazza.
And throughout the Laurin, every room has its own original artwork to discover.

At the Laurin Bar, it might start with a cocktail. Then the room changes pace.
Under the historic King Laurin frescoes, conversations turn into evenings, and on Fridays the Bar becomes a stage. For more than 33 years, All That Music…! has brought jazz, soul, swing and blues into the heart of Bolzano.
