In new objectivity, Ernst Nepo found his own form of expression for "bella figura".
In Room 206, the charcoal drawing "Robed Figure" by Ernst Nepo (1895–1971) dates from around 1925. Nepo’s early work is influenced by Expressionism and Cubism. In the mid 1920’s he turned to New Objectivity and became its leading exponent in Tyrol.
