Day-out tip: the Gilfenklamm gorge in Stange.

Although it isn’t located directly in the Pflerschtal valley, the roughly 30-minute drive is definitely worth it. The spectacular gorge, with its thundering waterfalls, bridges and footbridges, is a real natural highlight in South Tyrol.
You should allow around 1.5 to 2 hours for the walk through the gorge. The Gilfenklamm is an unforgettable experience, particularly in September, with its pleasant temperatures and the first hints of autumn colour.⛰
