Situazione incendio boschivo nella Pineta
Nonostante il terribile incendio che ha devastato nuovamente a distanza di poco più di 25 anni la pineta di Olzano in loc. Coste, non possa dirsi ancora domato, desidero ringraziare per l’impegno e la professionalità profusi, tutti coloro che a vario titolo hanno operato e stanno operando per superare quest’emergenza: Vigili del Fuoco, Carabinieri forestali, la Comunità Montana Parco Alto Garda Bresciano, i Volontari delle squadre antincendio e di soccorso e tutte le forze dell’ordine impiegate in questo frangente.
Un sentito ringraziamento lo devo anche a tutti i Sindaci della Comunità Montana e al Direttore di ASST del Garda per la solidarietà e la vicinanza dimostrate a tutta la nostra Comunità.
Con questo messaggio in particolare però permettetemi di esprimere tutta la mia stima e riconoscenza anche nei confronti della popolazione di Tignale e tutti gli operatori delle strutture ricettive per la compostezza nella gestione di questa crisi e per essere stati in grado di aiutare e supportare i numerosi turisti comprensibilmente spaventati per questa terribile situazione imprevista e per aver sostenuto a vario titolo tutti coloro che erano impegnati sul fronte dell’incendio.
In quest’occasione ancora una volta ho visto quanto sia bella la nostra Comunità, ho sentito davvero quanto questa ferita non abbia colpito solo un territorio, ma tutta la collettività che lo vive e lo ama.
È stata una notte difficile anche perché l’assenza di precipitazioni, il grande caldo ed il vento, hanno favorito il propagarsi delle fiamme che con mezzi di terra non poteva essere controllato anche per l’impervietà della zona.
L’arrivo in mattinata dei 2 Canadair e dell’elicottero hanno permesso piano piano di contenere il fronte dell’incendio e che saranno necessari ancora giorni per poter bonificare l’area ed evitare che nuovi focolai possano riattivarsi, credo che possiamo essere sereni perché la battaglia contro il fuoco non è ancora vinta, ma possiamo dire che ora abbiamo più strumenti per combatterla.
Tengo inoltre a sottolineare che attualmente non vi è alcun pericolo per la popolazione, per i turisti o per edifici di Tignale, l’attuale fronte dell’incendio coinvolge esclusivamente l’area boschiva e quindi invito tutti a rassicurare residenti ed ospiti che non vi è alcun pericolo nel soggiornare presso il nostro territorio.
Domani vi manderemo un nuovo comunicato per aggiornarvi sull’evolversi della situazione.

Gemeinde Tignale – Mitteilung der Bürgermeisterin
Trotz des schweren Waldbrandes, der nach mehr als 25 Jahren erneut den Pinienwald von Olzano in der Gegend „Coste“ verwüstet hat, möchte ich allen danken, die mit großem Einsatz und Professionalität daran gearbeitet haben, diese Notlage zu bewältigen: der Feuerwehr, den Forstcarabinieri, der Berggemeinschaft Parco Alto Garda Bresciano, den freiwilligen Waldbrand- und Rettungsteams sowie allen Ordnungskräften.
Ein besonderer Dank gilt auch den Bürgermeistern der Berggemeinschaft und dem Direktor der ASST Garda für ihre Solidarität und Nähe zu unserer Gemeinde.
Ich möchte außerdem meine große Wertschätzung gegenüber der Bevölkerung von Tignale und allen Betreibern der Beherbergungsbetriebe ausdrücken, die mit Ruhe und Verantwortungsbewusstsein diese schwierige Situation gemeistert und die zahlreichen Touristen unterstützt haben, die verständlicherweise besorgt waren.
Diese Nacht hat uns erneut gezeigt, wie stark und schön unsere Gemeinschaft ist. Diese Wunde betrifft nicht nur das Gebiet, sondern alle, die hier leben und diesen Ort lieben.
Dank des Einsatzes von zwei Canadair-Flugzeugen und eines Hubschraubers konnte das Feuer am Morgen schrittweise eingedämmt werden. Auch wenn noch Tage nötig sind, um das Gebiet vollständig zu sichern, können wir nun zuversichtlich sein: Der Kampf gegen das Feuer ist noch nicht gewonnen, aber wir haben mehr Mittel, ihn zu führen.
Ich betone, dass derzeit keinerlei Gefahr für die Bevölkerung, die Touristen oder die Gebäude von Tignale besteht. Das Feuer betrifft ausschließlich das Waldgebiet. Ich bitte daher alle, Bewohner und Gäste zu beruhigen – es besteht keine Gefahr für den Aufenthalt in unserem Gebiet.

Municipality of Tignale – Statement from the Mayor
Despite the terrible wildfire that once again, after more than 25 years, struck the pine forest of Olzano in the Coste area, I wish to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has worked tirelessly and professionally to face this emergency: the Fire Brigade, the Forestry Carabinieri, the Mountain Community Parco Alto Garda Bresciano, the volunteer fire and rescue teams, and all law enforcement officers involved.
Special thanks also go to the Mayors of the Mountain Community and to the Director of ASST Garda for their solidarity and support toward our community.
I would particularly like to express my deep appreciation to the people of Tignale and to all hospitality operators for their calm and responsible management of this crisis, for assisting and reassuring the many tourists understandably frightened by this unexpected situation, and for supporting those working on the fire front.
Once again, I have seen how beautiful our community is — this wound has not affected only the land, but the entire collective that lives and loves it.
Thanks to the arrival of two Canadair aircraft and a helicopter in the morning, the fire front was gradually contained. Although several days will still be needed to secure the area and prevent new outbreaks, we can now feel confident: the battle against the fire is not yet won, but we have more tools to fight it.
I wish to emphasize that there is currently no danger for residents, tourists, or buildings in Tignale. The fire affects only the forest area. I invite everyone to reassure both residents and guests that it is safe to stay in our territory.
Tomorrow we will issue a new statement to update you on the situation.
