Studio di Studi - Art in Progress
Studio di Studi does not feel like a finished, untouchable exhibition. The Foro Boario has been turned into a working art space with sketches, photographs, materials, sculptures and unfinished ideas all existing next to each other. You do not only see the final result, you get a sense of how art is actually made and changed.
Here you can enjoy very different approaches, from Victor Agius’ raw, almost geological sculptural forms to Entangled Shorelines by the Dutch collective Wandelende Duinen. Through photographs and interviews with fishers, residents and coastal communities, the project explores how people experience environmental, social and cultural changes along the coast, encapsulating a conversation between landscapes and the local people.
At Limolo, we believe travelling should be more than visiting places. Therefore, we create connections by encouraging our guests to visit local art initiatives, such as Studio di Studi, to become part of the creative life of the territory.
