Thomas Steiner, OLM-Stratege, war Teil des Innovationsforums Schweiz–Südtirol «Hospitality & Food im Alpenraum» an der HFS Belvoirpark in Zürich. Gemeinsam mit rund 80 Teilnehmenden — darunter 25 Journalisten sowie 55 Hoteliers und Gastronomen — wurde über die Zukunft der alpinen Hospitality diskutiert.
Im Fokus standen insbesondere Innovationen im Tourismus sowie der Vergleich zwischen den touristischen Entwicklungen der Schweiz und Südtirols: Welche Modelle sind zukunftsfähig? Welche Rolle spielen Regionalität, Qualität und neue Formen des Reisens im Alpenraum?
Am 11. Mai 2026 brachte Thomas Steiner im Rahmen des Panels seine Perspektive auf zukunftsfähige Hospitality ein und stellte das Konzept des OLM Nature Escape vor — geprägt von Haltung, Reduktion und neuen Formen des bewussten Reisens.
Gemeinsam mit den Panelteilnehmenden Michaela Frank, Marco Zanolari und Norbert Niederkofler entstand ein inspirierender Austausch darüber, wie sich der Alpenraum als Innovationsraum weiterdenken und aktiv gestalten lässt.

Insieme a circa 80 partecipanti — tra cui 25 giornalisti e 55 professionisti dell’hotellerie e della gastronomia — si è discusso del futuro dell’ospitalità alpina.
Al centro del confronto vi erano soprattutto le innovazioni nel turismo e il paragone tra i modelli turistici della Svizzera e dell’Alto Adige: quali approcci sono davvero sostenibili per il futuro? Quale ruolo giocano qualità, territorialità e nuove forme di viaggio consapevole?
L’11 maggio 2026 Thomas Steiner ha preso parte al panel presentando la sua visione di un’ospitalità orientata al futuro e il concept di OLM Nature Escape, fondato su essenzialità, consapevolezza e un nuovo approccio al viaggio.
Insieme ai partecipanti del panel Michaela Frank, Marco Zanolari e Norbert Niederkofler, è nato un confronto su come immaginare e sviluppare ulteriormente l’area alpina come spazio di innovazione.

Together with around 80 participants — including 25 journalists and 55 hoteliers and restaurateurs — the event focused on the future of hospitality in the Alpine region.
A key topic of discussion was innovation in tourism and the comparison between the tourism models of Switzerland and South Tyrol: Which approaches are sustainable for the future? How can regional identity, quality, and mindful travel shape the next generation of alpine hospitality?
On May 11, 2026, Thomas Steiner joined the panel to share his perspective on forward-looking hospitality and introduced the OLM Nature Escape concept — centered on attitude, reduction, and new forms of conscious travel.
Together with panel participants Michaela Frank, Marco Zanolari and Norbert Niederkofler, the discussion explored how the Alpine region can continue to evolve as a space for innovation.
