You can tell a lot about a day by the state of everyone’s boots by the end of it.

Maybe it’s something about horses. The way they make people loosen up a little. Or maybe it’s what happens when they spend an entire day out in the wild. By lunch, people who met that morning are swapping stories over wine by the water. By sunset, everyone’s a little dusty, a little sun-tired, and in an unusually good mood.

La Dogana Beach Club is back for the season.

Come for a swim, a beach picnic, lunch by the sea. Or stay for all of it. That usually means settling into a beach bed, the classic or the comfort one, with more shade and softer beds. Some keep the same one all season.

For those not quite ready to leave, or simply arriving later, the restaurant carries on through the day and into the evening. For a sunset aperitivo, a special gathering, or when you’re in the mood for something really good.
