The heavy wood door of Domus Mhyria shut with a soft, solid thud, but the scent of the day still clings to everything.
I look down at my hands, these hands just spent two days guiding a woman back to herself.
I walk back to the wood consolle in the entryway and pick up the leather bound guests book.
Her signature is still wet.
Under her name she wrote:
“I remember who I am now. Thank you, Tanja”
She left looking 10 years younger, her eyes clear and vibrant, that grey veil of burnout completely evaporated.
I can still feel the way she moved back to her car - not the frantic, jagged movements she arrived with - but a slow sensual fluidness.
