As many of you know, the surrounding areas of our winery has gone through a massive renovation process this year to ensure that our guests will get the best experience possible when they visit. Meaning, that they of course cannot be deprived of these breathtaking views to Upper Val d’Elsa - and now we have created the perfect spot for our guests to take in the beautiful Tuscan backdrop. PART 3. WINE-MAKER FOR A DAY | The central event in the past weekend’s celebrations at Il Cellese was the guests blending their very own wine to honour Brad’s 60th birthday! Prior to their arrival in Tuscany, each couple had made a label for their wine and we saw so many funny, creative and personal takes on this task. Choosing from six different blends located in our wine atelier, the guests took on the role as wine-maker for a day, carefully instructed by Sergio, our oenologist Mirko and our wine-master Daniele! After the blending, each couple took home two of their personalised bottles and gave the other two to the birthday boy, Brad and his wife Anne, in order for them to share and savour the wine and the memories with each other in the future 🍷

PART 2. WELCOME TO IL CELLESE | Time to greet the wonderful guests! .. and what better way to do it, than with a glass of sparkling Sangiovese paired with a selection of delicious canapés? After, a grand introduction by Sergio, Silvia and Max - telling the story of the winery; the mission, the vision and the hard work, that lies behind it all. Sergio then showed all the guests around the three cellars, explaining everything from the peculiar story of how he purchased the winery, to winemaking and the design process behind labels and interior🍷
