Via Francigena
It's one of the longest Europea pilgrimage routes running from Canterbury in England through Arras, Remis, Lausanne, the Great St. Bernarda, Pavia and Siena to Rome and its lenght Is 1610km.
The First more accurate records of the router were made by the Archbishop of Canterbury in 990.
Part of the route is only about 1km from the Villa.
