Inizia oggi il mese di Settembre, il nostro mese preferito, che ci porterà verso l'autunno siciliano...
Agosto 2026 è stato il quarto migliore dal 2016, con un calo del 5% rispetto allo scorso anno (quello migliore di sempre!), abbiamo ospitato meno persone ma per soggiorni più lunghi e la percentuale di notti prenotate si è attestata sull'88%.
I 41 ospiti arrivavano da Bulgaria, Finlandia, Canada, Italia, Francia, USA, Germania, Olanda, Polonia, Corea del Sud, Argentina, UK, Serbia e Australia.
Con alcuni di loro abbiamo fatto oltre alla classica passeggiata per il centro storico anche cene, drink e un tour in barca a vela con uno dei nostri partner.
È stato come sempre un piacere conoscere tante persone da tutto il mondo, uno dei motivi che ci fa continuare a fare questo lavoro con amore è passione. Quindi grazie a chi c'è stato e a chi arriverà!

September begins today, our favorite month, which will lead us into the Sicilian autumn...
August 2026 was the fourth best since 2016, down 5% from last year (the best ever!), we hosted fewer people but for longer stays, and the percentage of nights booked stood at 88%.
The 41 guests came from Bulgaria, Finland, Canada, Italy, France, the USA, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, South Korea, Argentina, the UK, Serbia, and Australia.
With some of them, in addition to the traditional stroll through the historic center, we also enjoyed dinners, drinks, and a sailing tour with one of our partners.
As always, it was a pleasure to meet so many people from all over the world; one of the reasons that keeps us doing this job with love and passion. So, thank you to those who were there and to those who will be coming!

Oggi il progetto ABCA (Andrea Baiba Comfort Apartments) festeggia un traguardo importante, 10 anni dal nostro inizio, 10 anni dai primi ospiti in uno dei nostri tre appartamenti.
In questi di 10 anni abbiamo avuto il grande piacere di conoscere con la nostra idea di accoglienza, fatta di presenza, consigli, sorrisi e attenzione, ben 4.540 persone da tutti i continenti.
Siamo molto orgogliosi di come il nostro approccio, la nostra dedizione e la nostra proattività sia stata apprezzata da così tante persone.
Con Baiba al mio fianco ogni sfida, ogni difficoltà e ogni successo è stato più bello e prezioso.
Il potere contare poi su mia sorella Chiara quando anche noi volevamo prenderci qualche giorno di meritato riposo, era ed è mettere in mani sicure i nostri ospiti e i nostri appartamenti.
Un lavoro che in questi 10 anni ha ovviamente avuto dei momenti difficili, la pandemia sopra ogni cosa, ma che ci ha dato tantissimo e che siamo certi ancora ha tanto da darci!
Grazie quindi a chi c'è stato e a chi arriverà, ci auguriamo altri 10 anni come questi e forse anche di più!

Today, the ABCA (Andrea Baiba Comfort Apartments) project celebrates a major milestone: 10 years since our inception, 10 years since the first guests in one of our three apartments.
Over these 10 years, we've had the great pleasure of welcoming 4,540 people from every continent, embracing our vision of hospitality—one that's made of presence, advice, smiles, and attentiveness.
We're incredibly proud of how our approach, dedication, and proactivity have been appreciated by so many.
With Baiba by my side, every challenge, every difficulty, and every success has been more beautiful and precious.
Being able to count on my sister Chiara when we, too, wanted to take a few days of well-deserved rest was and is a way of putting our guests and our apartments in safe hands.
A job that has obviously had its challenges over these 10 years, especially the pandemic, but which has given us so much and which we're certain still has so much to give!
So, thanks to those who have been there and those who will come. We hope for another 10 years like this, and maybe even more!

Oggi si conclude il mese di Luglio del quale siamo soddisfatti a metà... È il quarto di sempre con un calo di fatturato del -3% rispetto a Luglio 2025, nonostante questo il trend sembra essere leggermente migliore rispetto ai primi 3 mesi di questo 2026. Abbiamo chiuso con 79 notti prenotate su 93 (85%) e abbiamo ospitato 40 ospiti da Canada, Francia, Romania, USA, Bulgaria, Giappone, Giordania, Ungheria, Polonia, Vietnam e Olanda. Abbiamo avuto il piacere con molti di loro di visitare come sempre il centro storico e di condividere con loro le tipicità e le unicità della nostra Regione. Agosto inizia domani e ha ancora qualche notto disponibile. Quindi come sempre grazie a chi c'è stato e a chi arriverà!

Today marks the end of a month of July, a month we're only half satisfied with... It's the fourth month ever with a 3% drop in revenue compared to July 2025, although the trend appears to be slightly better than in the first three months of 2026. We closed with 79 of 93 nights booked (85%) and hosted 40 guests from Canada, France, Romania, the USA, Bulgaria, Japan, Jordan, Hungary, Poland, Vietnam, and the Netherlands. We had the pleasure of visiting the historic center with many of them, as always, and sharing the typical and unique features of our region with them. August starts tomorrow and still has a few nights available. So, as always, thanks to those who were there and those who are coming!

Ieri è iniziato il mese di Luglio ma già il caldo ha fatto il suo ingresso in questa estate siciliana da qualche settimana... Il mese di Giugno 2026 si è chiuso con il 90% di notti prenotate ma nonostante questa percentuale non altissima è stato il migliore di sempre dal 2016. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di ospitare 36 ospiti da UK, Italia, Rep. Dominicana, Germania, Taiwan, USA, Francia, Argentina, Cina, Canada e Corea del Sud. I loro sorrisi sono il nostro più grande premio, e anche se Luglio ha ancora molte notti libere (32 per l'esattezza) nella seconda metà del mese, siamo certi che ospiteremo tante belle persone anche in questo mese (crisi internazionali permettendo). Quindi grazie a chi c'è stato e a chi arriverà!

July began yesterday, but the heat has already made its way into this Sicilian summer for a few weeks now... June 2026 ended with 90% of nights booked, but despite this modest percentage, it was our best ever since 2016. We had the pleasure of hosting 36 guests from the UK, Italy, Dominican Republic, Germany, Taiwan, USA, France, Argentina, China, Canada, and South Korea. Their smiles are our greatest reward, and even though July still has many free nights (32 to be exact) in the second half of the month, we're sure we'll host many wonderful people this month too (international crisis permitting). So, thank you to those who were there and to those who are coming!

Oggi è lunedì 1 Giugno 2026 ed inizia ufficialmente la stagione estiva con il caldo che si fa sentire... Giugno è ancora al 70%, causa incertezza internazionale e caro voli/benzina ma visto come è andato Maggio 2026 siamo ottimisti.
Infatti abbiamo chiuso il mese scorso con risultati eccezionale! Il miglior Maggio di sempre, con il 96% di notti prenotate (89 su 93 disponibili), un +15% d'incasso su Maggio 2025 e ben 59 ospiti da Bosnia, Nigeria, Canada, Iran, Germania, USA, Pakistan, Italia, Francia, Canada, Romania, Argentina, UK, Australia, Bulgaria, Olanda e Polonia. Come si vede dalle tante foto facce sorridenti, durante le passeggiate per il centro, ma anche a Beer Fest o a cena con alcuni di loro. Quindi come sempre grazie a chi c'è stato e a chi arriverà! 🤗

Today is Monday, June 1, 2026, and the summer season officially begins with the heat making itself felt... June is still at 70% capacity, due to international uncertainty and the high cost of flights/fuel, but given how May 2026 went, we're optimistic.
In fact, we closed last month with exceptional results! Our best May ever, with 96% of nights booked (89 out of 93 available), a 15% increase in revenue over May 2025, and a whopping 59 guests from Bosnia, Nigeria, Canada, Iran, Germany, the USA, Pakistan, Italy, France, Canada, Romania, Argentina, the UK, Australia, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, and Poland. As you can see from the many photos, smiling faces, during strolls around the city center, but also at the Beer Fest or at dinner with some of them. So, as always, thanks to those who were there and to those who will be coming! 🤗
PS. In May 2026, we opened our VAT number 😱

Ieri è iniziato il mese di Maggio che, crisi mondiali permettendo, dovrebbe portare all'alta stagione turistica in Sicilia... Siaml già all'85% di notti prenotate e puntiamo a superare il 90%.
Aprile 2025 è stato un buon mese, il secondo di sempre ma, rispetto allo scorso anno, abbiamo perso il 9% di incasso e la percentuale di notti prenotate è stata del 90% rispetto al 92% di Aprile 2025.
Abbiamo ospitato in tutto 45 persone (nel 25 sono state 52) da ben 19 Paesi, nello specifico da Germania, Italia, USA, Romania, Uganda, Corea del Sud, Nuova Zelanda, Norvegia, Argentina, Francia, Svizzera, Canada, UK, Tanzania, Cina, Polonia, Finlandia, Grecia e India.
Come sempre ci siamo proposti di fare la classica passeggiata del quartiere sempre più colorato e vivo, tanti turisti e tanti nuovi locali hanno lasciato un ricordo splendido nelle loro vacanze e anche nei nostri cuori. Quindi grazie a chi c'è stato e a chi arriverà!

Yesterday marked the beginning of May, which, global crises permitting, should usher in the high tourist season in Sicily... We're already at 85% of nights booked and aim to exceed 90%.
April 2025 was a good month, the second best ever, but compared to last year, we lost 9% in revenue, and the percentage of nights booked was 90% compared to 92% in April 2025.
We hosted a total of 45 guests (52 in 2025) from 19 countries, specifically Germany, Italy, the USA, Romania, Uganda, South Korea, New Zealand, Norway, Argentina, France, Switzerland, Canada, the UK, Tanzania, China, Poland, Finland, Greece, and India.
As always, we planned to take the classic stroll through the increasingly colorful and lively neighborhood. So many tourists and so many new locals have left wonderful memories of their holidays and also in our hearts. So, thank you to those who have been there and to those who will be coming!

Ieri è iniziato il mese di Aprile che ci porterà alla Pasqua e a molte festività che faranno iniziare la stagione "alta". Nonostante Marzo si sia chiuso con ben l'86% di notti prenotate, abbiamo riscontrato anche nel terzo mese del 2026 un calo sia di presenze sia di notti prenotate e un -8% d'incasso rispetto al marzo 2025. Abbiamo ospitato 52 persone da ben 15 Paesi, Corea del Sud, Slovenia, Hong Kong, Polonia, Repubblica Ceca, Italia, Germania, USA, Venezuela, Lettonia, Austria, Svezia, Perù, UK e Armenia. Dalle foto è sempre evidence come con molti di loro il tempo trascorso in giro per la città e a volte a bere, pranzare o cenare insieme, sia da quasi 10 anni il valore aggiunto del nostro modo di fare turismo. E quindi grazie a chi c'è stato e a chi arriverà! Aprile è al 77% e puntiamo a superare l'85%.

Yesterday marked the beginning of April, the month that will usher in Easter and many holidays that will usher in the "high" season. Although March closed with a full 86% of nights booked, we also saw a decline in both occupancy and nights booked in the third month of 2026, and an 8% decrease in revenue compared to March 2025.
