echinacea /nature’s remedies

a few years ago, after trying to grow echinacea from seed, i bought a couple of plants from a nursery (echinacea purpurea magnus) one of which i planted behind the house with the result that moles ate away it’s roots, i lost one plant. the other i kept and still keep in it’s vase, with the few flowers i pick i decided to make a tincture, i have been using this method of conservation of therapeutic properties of certain essences where it is appropriate to take a few drops once a day or more depending on need....

spirit & matter /natural laws

natural forms

yarrow / nature’s remedies

yarrow is quite abundant on our land, i have been harvesting flowers for many years, using them mostly dehydrated in infusion. it is said to be ally for the digestive, circulatory, helps metabolism and menstrual cycle for internal use, externally it helps wound repair therefore being an ally to many skin conditions. this year i am also making an oil infusion, letting flowers macerate in cold pressed organic sunflower oil for 40 days, then filtering to use during massage therapies....

n my observation, breath is our first and foremost instrument of consciousness, the moment your attention rests on your breath, it will, inevitably, bring calm. have you noticed? for many years for me it was natural, attention naturally shifted to the breath, calming the mind and focusing what i sometimes refer to the ‘monkey’ state of attention, where attention bounces frantically from one thing to the next....
