Feel the Scent of Acqui Terme

Just 13 minutes from Ferri e Zani, Acqui Terme becomes the perfect destination for a slow evening escape.

Tonight, we wandered through its quiet cobblestone streets together with our guests, Magdalena and Tomek — passing tiny artisan shops, stopping for gelato in a small handcrafted ice cream shop, and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of this historic town.

Acqui Terme has been famous since Roman times for its sulfur-rich thermal waters. The characteristic mineral scent drifts through the streets and squares, reminding visitors that beneath the city flows water that has welcomed travelers for more than 2,000 years.

Walking around the old church in the center, surrounded by warm evening light and the calm rhythm of Italian life, we were reminded why Acqui is such a beautiful place for an evening stroll after a day in the valleys of Piedmont 🇮🇹
