Self Guided Day Walk - Castelbuono to Piano Pomo 🌳

This Self Guided Day Walk will introduce you to a magical and extraordinary place. Inside the Madonie Park - near Castelbuono - you will find an entire forest of giants hollies, up to 300 years old and unique in the world for theirs dimensions and their geographical location.

The ascent of 325m begins at Piano Sempria and winds through holm
oak woods where you will find an ancient 800 year old moss covered oak. Since the route is largely shaded, this type of excursion can also be done in summer, it's an easy walk and enjoyable for all age groups!
