Our “Masseria”*, "The Flowering Almond", which dates back to the XIX century (1860), formerly part of the old masseria Galante, is located in front of the old complex. It has now been beautifully restored to its former glory (june 2014), with refined modern techniques and newly furnished. Located at about 1 km away from the historical site Ceglie Messapica, which is the main village in the nearby,
easily reachable even on foot. This authentic and typical ancient village spotted with baroque churches, white houses, small streets paved with the local paving slab called “chianca”, is also well known as the gastronomy’s capital in the region, centre of various music festivals, folkloristic cooking parties and religious festivals, of the Itria Valley (Altosalento). The Masseria is about 2o minutes from the Adriatic sea and about 40 minutes from the Jonio sea by car. The Masseria consists in a main block of local stone with a high cornice and two villas. The one called “Fico Lamia” is about 110 sq.m. (square metres), with a wide entrance and living room, two bedrooms (Bedroom 1: queen size bed, private entrance, Bedroom 2: 2 single beds, private entrance/exterior access)
two bathrooms (with shower and bidet), a huge dining room, sitting room with a sofa bed, kitchen with wide refrigerator, dishwasher, ventilated oven, cook top, microwave oven, hairdryer, TV. From the kitchen is directly possible to reach the lemon and orange trees private garden, while the swimming pool is directly accessible from the bedrooms. All the rooms are set with air conditioning system and heating system for the winter season. Total number of beds : 4 . The apartment called “Ulivo Lamia” consists in 55 sq.m. (square metres) consists of an entrance and living room, two bedrooms:

The masseria provides for a huge Infinity pool (6x 12 mt.), with space tub, spacious parking places, vast outer spaces at the service of the guests, orchard and almond garden, lawn around the apartments and swimming pool, olive grove producing organic olive oil. The entire property is fenced with electric gate. Pets not allowed. We speak Italian, English French and Spanish.
