The Italian chateau of Valcastello in San Candido in Italy’s South Tirol, has belonged to three generations of Countess Chantal d’Acquarone’s family since the 1910 . This spring, Kico and Chantal Schettino d’Acquarone are opening their private home, estate and Polo Club in the Italian Alps to commercial guests for the first time. Up until now, Valcastello was accessible only to members of its Valc

astello Polo Club. The mansion still embodies an exclusive Polo Club with suites, the laidback feel of a hunting lodge, the faded grandeur of a historic chateau and the bespoke service and alpine location of a ski chalet. While playing polo remains central to Valcastello, it welcomes both polo players and non-polo playing guests.
