Also known as the Valley of the Painters, Val Vigezzo is located in the extreme North East of Piedmont, a few kilometers from the Italian-Swiss border. A sweet plateau with its average altitude of 800meters which offers fascinating landscapes in every season. Guests can enjoy the scenic railway Vigezzina, the Sanctuary of Re , the museum of the Chimney Sweepers and the wild nature of the Val Grande National Park. A great base to discover other wonders in the Ossola valleys, the area of Lake Maggiore and Switzerland too. A beautiful place for hiking or simply walking slowly through through the woods ancient paths.
