The Uffizi Gallery

The Gallery occupies the entire first and second floor of the large building built between 1560 and 1580 to a design by Giorgio Vasari: it is one of the most famous museums in the world for its extraordinary collections of ancient sculptures and paintings (from the Middle Ages to the modern). The collections of paintings from the fourteenth century and the Renaissance contain some absolute masterpieces of art of all times: just remember the names of Giotto, Simone Martini, Piero della Francesca, Beato Angelico, Filippo Lippi, Botticelli, Mantegna, Correggio, Leonardo, Raffaello , Michelangelo, Caravaggio, as well as masterpieces of European painting, especially German, Dutch and Flemish.

Gelegen op 20 minuten van Florance, 75 minuten van Siena en 50 minuten van Arezzo met de auto. En de Chianti-steden: Greve, Radda, Gaiole en Castellina in Chianti.

Voor natuurliefhebbers zijn er mogelijkheden om te wandelen en fietsen in de directe omgeving. Langs San Leo loopt een wandelroute. Of bezoek het Pratomagno-massief en de bossen van Vallombrosa en Casentino.

Confidentiality, comfort and relax are the characteristics of your stay in this beautiful Residence. The Bonechi family has dedicated itself to tourism with the opening of the San Leo Residence in 2006 after its 40 year experience of successes with its Farm.

Today, the residence, historic family estate unified in 1999 in the heart of Tuscany between the provinces of Florence, Siena and Arezzo, has become a romantic agritourism, thanks to a great preservative restoration, and has maintained all the sensations this location has always transmitted to the family throughout the years, intact, in order to be able to share them with their guests.

Andrea and Patrizia deal with full family management of the residence with passion and friendliness. The atmoephere in the San Leo Residence is paeceful and full of family tranquility even more appealing thanks to the surroundings: the 13th century Medieval Tower, the 18th century Manor House, the 19th century Farm. A place that since 1900 has never had a new construction added to it.
