Villa Capri is an aristocratic home of great charm on the Gulf of Gaeta. The villa offers to our vacationing visitors a peaceful escape with its lush gardens, its airy rooms and broad terraces overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the gulf, the islands, the mountains like a postcard pictures. The villa sit on the top of the picturesque town of Gaeta, Formia and Minturno with its ancient Roman ruins, medieval down towns and castles, ancient churches and shops, bars, trattoria, restaurants, pizzeria. Villa Capri is one of the very few private residences with this much adjoining space for intimate holidays, family reunions, celebrations and group vacations, and is the ideal place to spend a serene, peaceful holiday, within day-trip distance of Rome or Naples, but with none of the noise and chaos of the cities. The surrounding mountains offer hiking opportunities. Or, if you choose, you can lie by the sea, soak up the sun, and relax. The three towns adjacent to the villa, Gaeta, Formia and Minturno offer wonderful restaurants that serve seafood caught daily in the bay. The accessibility of the train makes Villa Capri an excellent home base for exploration of the entire area, without having to deal with city traffic. This Magnificent Villa in a typical Mediterranean style is a unique mix of comfort, stunning panoramic views, art, history and tradition. From every angle, you can see on the Mediterranean sea, the Gaeta Gulf and the Islands of Ischia, Capri, Ventotene and Ponza in the bright days. The large lush garden with Mediterranean flowers and trees on more levels includes several seating areas under the shadow of nature, a porch with lunch and barbecue area and ends with a big swimming pool of 25meters fully equipped of umbrellas and chaise lounge from which you can feel seated on the Gaeta Gulf. In the main part of the villa every ambient is decorated with fine antiques furniture, paints and art crafts. Large living room with 2 sofa areas, the fireplace (very charmy in winter) and dining area that include also a piano. On the ground floor, you can find also kitchenette and the bathroom with the shower. On the first floor, there are 3 bedrooms (2 double beds Italian size, 1 double bed French size) and 1 bathroom both with shower and bath. In the garden, floored in the walking areas you can find also 2 additional buildings:
- A lovely dependence, provided of 1 double bed and small bathroom also super-panoramic and closer to the swimming pool.
- A large fully equipped kitchen (including fireplace and oven for pizza, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge) connected with the panoramic porch and the external barbecue area from which can have lunch up to 12 persons in full comfort overlooking the Mediterranean sea and nature! The swimming pool is on the edge of the garden fully equipped of outdoor showers with hot and cold water, sunbeds, table, seats and umbrellas. Lots of our guests come with great travelling schedules… but after arrival they realize that they will not move from the villa till the last day as you have almost everything!!!! The villa is provided of 2 private parking areas shadowed inside the gate. The dependence is not heated. This villa does not have air conditioning! This villa is very fresh also in the hottest summer thanks to the thick old featured bricks walls and the position, on the hill top and exposed to sea breeze (no air conditioning needed!). The position is also unique:
just 10 minutes from the local beaches of fine golden sand, with shallow waters protected by rocks barriers (perfect to control kids and avoid rough sea).
20 minutes from dozen of highly interesting sites and towns for shopping, dining, art, history, culture and sport.
1 hour train from Rome and from Naples by train. 1 hour from some of the best Italian outlets. The position is strategic to alternate cultural visits to Rome and Naples… and at the end of the day be watching the sunset snipping a bottle of wine.
