Here in the heart of Tuscany’s Chianti Classico country, near the medieval hamlets of Radda and Gaiole is the 230-hectare Vistarenni estate, dominated by the splendid 17th-century Renaissance hill-top villa. Some decades ago, the house, whose former owners include Principe Ferdinando Strozzi of the famed Florentine noble family and the Italian politician and diplomat Barone

Giorgio Sonnino, passed to the Tognana family. It is now a listed
building protected by the Soprintendenza per i Beni Architettonici ed il Paesaggio, the Architectural Heritage and Landscape Superintendency. Spacious rooms overlook the gently rolling Chianti Classico hills; here past and present mingle as splendid 18th- and 19th-century wall decorations,
antique books and paintings, gilded coered ceilings, painted beams and period furniture encounter modern design objects
and contemporary furniture. Guests staying at Villa Vistarenni can choose between the manor house or the guest house, a 16th-century stone
farmhouse that has recently been restored and furnished in traditional country style to give a taste of the history, art and
culture of Tuscany, its wine and cuisine. Villa Vistarenni is the perfect place to spend a country break in a comfortable elegant setting evoking the splendid past of
the Tuscan noble families. As you relax surrounded by the Villa’s opulent exclusive furnishings, you will feel brie‑y as though you too are embracing the spirit of this historic residence. Villa Vistarenni is also a perfect setting for romantic weddings with its own private consecrated chapel, an architectural jewel dating to 1584, surrounded by age-old
cypress trees and dedicated to Mary Magdalen de’ Pazzi, one of the Catholic Church’s most important and highly venerated “ecstatic” saints. e Villa is also the ideal location for ceremonies and celebrations, prestigious corporate events,
conventions and congresses. Villa’s guests can relax by the large swimming pool with a view of the stunning valley below, play tennis (even at night) or enjoy pleasant walks on marked trails. You can also indulge yourself in the sophisticated Spa resorts in nearby Rapolano, Petriolo and Bagno Vignoni. The Villa and Guest House sleep 35 (18 rooms). a tastefully restored historic cellars of the farmhouse have been
converted into spacious rooms seating over 150 people (can be divided according to need) opening onto a large garden and inner courtyard. Absolute privacy is guaranteed; the Villa is reached by a splendid 2-km-long cypress avenue ending in large parking facilities with room for over 80 cars and there is also a private helipad. The Villa offers free Wi-Fi, housekeeper and cook (upon request).
