A new chapter begins on Lake Garda.

We are delighted to share an important milestone in the transformation of 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗮, 𝗟𝗫𝗥 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘀 & 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀. The bold new architectural and interior vision has now been unveiled, marking the next major step in our journey toward reopening in 2027. 💫

Together with Paval Holding, Apex Alliance and the renowned Milan studio De.Tales, we are reimagining our Belle Époque landmark with great care - preserving its historic character while introducing a refined contemporary spirit.

The renewed concept includes a restored entrance, a new indoor pool pavilion overlooking the lake, and revitalised interiors shaped by light, rhythm and harmony.

When we reopen as Italy’s first LXR Hotels & Resorts property, you will be welcomed back to elegant lake-view rooms, signature dining, immersive wellness experiences and beautifully refreshed spaces for meaningful gatherings - all inspired by the spirit of Lake Garda itself. ✨

Did you know this entrance once welcomed travellers arriving by boat, long before the lakeside road even existed? 🔑

When Grand Hotel Gardone opened in 1884, Gardone Riviera was still a modest village. It became Lake Garda’s first large hotel, attracting guests from Central Europe in search of a gentler climate and the growing reputation of Garda as a health retreat. ☀

💡 Inside, the original wrought iron lift still operates - a rare piece of early 20th-century engineering. At the time, the hotel was among the first in the area to offer electric lighting and central heating.

Step into history and enjoy one final season before the doors close for renewal.
