A small house, a vast living room

When my father and I restored this home, we chose to listen to what it remembered. Its original bones remained: bricks and beams, stone and worn wooden doors.
But more than that, we kept the quiet traces of a life lived within its walls — glasses set down, shoes, paintings and sculptures, and all the memories that refuse to fade.
