Around Christmas, in the village of Giove (Umbria) - just up the hill from our farmhouse - is this wonderful experience free to all. Volunteers from the village dress and reenact life long past. It was wonderful to experience 🥰 choose to vacation at our farmhouse for the holidays!

It’s been a crazy almost-150 hours of online, live, studies and lessons with various professors and experts, to become an officia Farmer in Italy 😬 Our farm is about to become a true farm. We are aiming for purely organic farming. With this important designation, we will be able to take advantage of various incentives and grants in order to produce foods out of our 10 acres, transform them into European-recognized food items, and legally sell them online and in person. This is a huge deal for us because we have lots of land currently not in use! We will become an official Agriturismo allowing us to host you for your holidays AND offer farm-to-person culinary activities on a grander scale. It’s been a journey! Last time I was in school was when I graduated from college in 2000! 😅 This December 23rd is my final written and oral exam… wish me luck! And stay tuned for our official launch in early 2026 😍
