Il Castello di Santa Cristina è situato al centro dell’ altipiano dell’Alta Tuscia, tra Lazio, Umbria e Toscana, nel mezzo di una campagna incontaminata in uno dei territori meno abitati d’Italia, a metà strada tra Roma e Siena, a soli 10 minuti dal Lago di Bolsena, il più grande lago vulcanico

d’ Europa. Una regione quella dell’Alta Tuscia, con una natura ancora intatta e un territorio ricco di spunti interessanti per magiche escursioni tra castelli, antichi palazzi rinascimentali, affascinanti paesini arroccati su rupi impervie e necropoli etrusche p***e nelle campagne. Dalla ristrutturazione del borgo sottostante il Castello, effettuata negli ultimi anni, sono stati ricavati 8 appartamenti con servizio di self-catering e 14 stanze B&B per un totale di 42 posti letto, per la maggior parte arredati con mobili provenienti dal Castello. The breathtakingly splendid 17th century castle, Castello di Santa Cristina, has been the property of the noble Caterini family for generations and has it's own fairy tail turret! Over the past ten years, the castle’ s nearby 18th Century ivy-covered farmhouse and out-buildings have been carefully restored to retain their authenticity and seperated into 8 self-catering cottages and 14 bedrooms with Bed & Breakfast for guests, furnished with original pieces itcan offer you unique country holidays. A perfect location for family holidays where you can explore the various neighboring historic towns including Orvieto, Sorano, Acquapendente, Grotte Di Castro and many more. We offer sensational Tuscan cuisine, fantastic cooking courses and unique weddings in the castle grounds. The Castello di Santa Cristina is also an ideal place for a horse riding holiday. On our exciting trail excursions, we travel as far as Proceno, Lake Bolsena, Lake Mezzano and to the beautiful nature reserve Selva Del Lamone.
