Seit fünf Jahren haben wir das Privileg, die Ärztinnen, Ärzte und Pflegekräfte der Palliativakademie Bamberg gemeinsam mit Dr. Cuno bei uns in Guardistallo willkommen zu heißen.

Es sind Menschen, die sich jeden Tag um andere kümmern und dabei eine anspruchsvolle, intensive und emotional belastende Arbeit leisten.

Oft kommen sie müde bei uns an – mit erschöpften Augen und vielen bewegenden Geschichten im Gepäck.

Sieben Tage lang ist es unsere Aufgabe, uns um sie zu kümmern.

Wir organisieren die Woche, begleiten die verschiedenen Aktivitäten und versuchen, ihnen Momente der Leichtigkeit zu schenken: gemeinsame Erlebnisse, gutes Essen, lange Abende am Tisch, viel Lachen und neue Emotionen.

Tag für Tag sehen wir, wie die Müdigkeit in ihren Augen langsam einem Lächeln weicht.

Unser größter Wunsch ist, dass sie leichter nach Hause zurückkehren und die Erinnerung an eine besondere Erfahrung mitnehmen, die noch lange in ihren Herzen bleibt.

Danke an die Palliativakademie Bamberg, dass ihr euch erneut für uns entschieden und uns etwas so Wertvolles anvertraut habt.

Denn auch diejenigen, die sich um andere kümmern, verdienen es, selbst umsorgt zu werden.

A rather beautiful traffic jam in the Tuscan countryside.

For one afternoon, the car park at Locanda Le Giunche became a small open-air concours: timeless lines, polished chrome and stories written over thousands of kilometres.

Porsche, Aston Martin, Bentley, Jaguar, Alfa Romeo, BMW and Rolls-Royce — each with its own character, all taking a quiet pause among the Tuscan hills.

Because sometimes the journey is just as memorable as the destination.

Before our guests arrive, we sit down at the table.

Kitchen, dining room, family.
A shared meal, a few laughs and the final words before service begins.

One of the simplest and most genuine moments at the Locanda: our staff dinner.

Then everyone takes their place and the doors open. But for a few minutes, we are all gathered around the same table.

LA SCUDERIA
Some rooms are simply places to sleep.
Others still remember what they once were.
The first traces of Locanda Le Giunche date back to around 1840, when this house in the Tuscan countryside had a very different life.
At that time, La Scuderia was the stable for the horses.
Today, that same space has become one of the most special rooms of the Locanda, where history and quiet comfort meet.
La Scuderia is our only ground-floor room, a detail that makes it especially easy and pleasant to live in.
It also opens onto a beautiful private garden, with sun loungers, a table and a gazebo: a secluded corner where you can read, rest, enjoy a glass of w**e, or simply breathe in the stillness of the Tuscan countryside.
Almost two centuries later, its walls still tell their story.
Staying in La Scuderia is not simply about spending a night in Tuscany.
It is about experiencing a place that has preserved its soul.

Il 23 luglio la nostra arte torna in campagna.

Alle ore 20, alla Locanda Le Giunche, presenteremo due nuove opere di Gabriele Leonardi.

Due pecore, simbolo del mondo rurale e della vita di campagna, entreranno negli spazi della Locanda per affiancarsi ai galli già presenti.

Un nuovo capitolo di un racconto fatto di natura, tradizione e arte contemporanea.
Perché la Locanda non è soltanto un luogo dove mangiare e soggiornare: è una casa che continua a riempirsi di storie, incontri e bellezza.
