𝗝𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮, aka Francesco Iaquinta, is a reggae and raggamuffin singer from Calabria carrying a powerful Mediterranean and Afro-diasporic sound. Often described as a true “Calafrikan” reggae ambassador, his music blends roots reggae, dub and dancehall with Southern Italian traditions and rhythms from across West Africa.
Through projects like Metissound and Calafreaka, Jakinta has built a multicultural musical journey full of energy, percussion and vibes, sharing stages and collaborations with artists from Italy, Africa and the international reggae scene.
