A love letter to summer.

A throwback to last weekend, when Johanna from Johanna Alscheken took over our kitchen at Villa Arnica for a full day of prepping, cooking, setting the tavolata, and getting everything ready for a beautiful evening in our garden.

From green beans straight from our garden, tomatoes with no-nnato cream to poached pears, all served on a warm summer evening.

We’re already looking forward to welcoming Johanna back for another dinner in October. More information on our website.

Reading with László Krasznahorkai at Villa Arnica (EN)

On August 27 at 8 pm, the garden of Villa Arnica welcomes Nobel Prize winner László Krasznahorkai for a very special evening. After 33 years, the Hungarian author returns to the Lana Literature Days to open this year’s festival with a reading from his celebrated works.

The reading is open to everyone — entry is free. No reservation needed.
