Mia nonna diceva che spesso è inutile spiegare le cose a chi non ascolta, ma alcune cose hanno un valore che vanno aldilà del loro valore reale.
Questo mortaio e il pestello hanno quasi 150 anni, in questo mortaio 4 generazioni hanno fatto il pesto, e, in un mondo in cui la memoria viene spesso dimenticata e getta le cose vecchie, questo mortaio è passato attraverso 4 generazioni, 2 guerre, un secolo e i cambiamenti avvenuto, sia mo passati dal telegrafo agli smartphone, ma questo pezzo di marmo e di legno hanno assorbito storia e preso vita.... Se non ricordo male il pestello era il mio microfono quando d a piccolo cantavo sui tavoli.. Ho ascoltato e.. Ricordo tutto... Nonna...

This mortar and pestle are almost 150 years old, in this mortar 4 generations have made pesto, and, in a world where memory is often forgotten and throws away old things, this mortar has gone through 4 generations, 2 wars, a century and the changes that have taken place, both from the telegraph to smartphones, but this piece of marble and wood have absorbed history and come to life.... If I remember correctly, the pestle was my microphone when I was a child I sang on the tables. I've listened and... I remember everything... Grammie
