Our Story

Located in the heart of the historic center of Lezzeno, a special place awaits you. Now you can live your dream in Italy as a guest of Il Palazzo del Vice Re; a unique boutique property only rarely available for holiday experiences, except to well-connected insiders. A former palace of aristocracy, Il Palazzo has been lovingly restored by local artisans and craftsmen to its former glory and modernized throughout with amenities such as Wifi, satellite television, underfloor heating, and air conditioning to complement stately living quarters with beautifully appointed bathrooms. Our on-site staff are available all hours to assist with bag transfer between vehicles and property, and other needs. Moreover, each morning, a bountiful breakfast of delicacies is prepared for our valued guests. Events of all kinds, wedding parties and groups seeking to let the entire property are all welcome. You will find Il Palazzo an ideal base for touring, hiking, biking, boating, kayaking, and strolling through the floral gardens, picturesque towns and villages that line the lake’s shore. As our guest, you will be a world away from the hustle and bustle of big city life, while remaining an easy distance from major destinations. Switzerland, by road, is only 25 kms / 16 miles distance, and Milan's two main airports, Malpensa and Linate, are 1 hour 15 minutes by car.
