We frequently use this passage through Palazzo Ducale to Piazza Napoleone.
Originally built as the residence of Lucca’s rulers, the palace dates back to the 16th century, although it was redesigned in the early 1800s during Elisa Bonaparte’s time in Lucca. We love how history is part of our everyday route in Lucca.
