Yesterday evening Balbano's at Albergo Casanova was delighted to host the first showing in its entirety of Anthony Moman's new collection of pop art film icons entitled " Skin Deep ". We had a big turnout and I think everyone was entertained guessing who the icons were by the scene clips: It is hard to tell one skull from another..and I think this was one of the issues posed by the artist on the cult of celebrity...because after all, we all are just bones !

Emma is managed by Paul Loasby who also looks after Jools Holland and David Gilmour of Pink Floyd and she writes for and with artists currently signed with UNIVERSAL, WARNER, EMI major music management companies including XiX ENTERTAINMENT (formerly 19 Entertainment) 679 ARTISTS and TURN FIRST ARTIST MANAGEMENT as well as emerging talent.
Emma works with a number of producers including the wonderfully talented Sam Jones (Corinne Bailey Rae, Soweto Kinch, Arctic Monkeys).
Her classical grounding, academic background and vast musical experience have undoubtedly helped her to be able to compose across a wide range of genres, including Pop, Rock, R’n'B, Soul, Jazz and more recently branching out into music for TV and commercials.
Albergo Casanova is proud to host an evening of dinner and music on July 20th.

Anthony Moman's collection of twenty paintings entitled " Skin Deep " explores whether the film icons portrayed in pop art were worshipped for their enigmatic on screen personalities or their off screen, sometimes very fragile personalities.
Does anyone really know the personality behind the mask ?
