🌡️ A QUICK NOTE ABOUT AIR CONDITIONING AND HOT WEATHER — because apparently we’re now expecting machines to control the weather too. 😂

When it’s 38°C outside, everyone is hot.

We’re not in the tropics, and our homes, buildings and air-conditioning systems weren’t designed on the assumption that 38°C outdoor temperatures would be normal everyday conditions.

On exceptionally hot days, an air conditioner may take longer, work harder and struggle to reach the desired temperature immediately.

And setting it to 18°C will not magically make the room 18°C.

The number on the remote is the temperature you’re asking the system to reach — it’s not the “power level” of the cold air.

I can check that the system is working properly, but unfortunately I still don’t have control over the weather. 😅

If it’s 38°C outside and you’re hot, I completely understand the discomfort.
But at that moment you’re hot, your neighbour is hot, people in hotels are hot, people at home are hot, and people at work are hot.

These are exceptional weather conditions — they don’t automatically mean there’s something wrong with the air conditioner.

So before deciding that “the AC isn’t working” because the room hasn’t reached 20°C after ten minutes, it’s worth looking at what’s happening outside too.

The air conditioner can cool the house.
We’re still working on controlling the temperature outside. 😂

Our security cameras are located exclusively in the outdoor common areas. They are clearly disclosed and are there to protect our guests and a historic villa that we care for with great attention.

The swimming pool has specific opening hours, clearly stated on our website. These hours follow the filtration system’s operation to ensure clean water, hygiene, and safety for all our guests.

Yes, it’s true.

We ask our guests to respect the common areas.

Because shared spaces are more enjoyable when everyone treats them with care, consideration, and respect.

We may not be the right place for everyone.
