The Space:
the house is cute and new, each bedroom has its own toilet (with shampoo and soap) and air conditioning, blankets and towels, 1 hair dryer in common, a fully equipped kitchen (with microwawe, coffe machine and with basic ingredient like salt, oil, etc), wifi, iron and iron board, wash machine with detergent included in the price, breakfast as well included in the price (coffee, milk, biscuits and seasonal fruits). The house is very quiet and easily reachable (ground floor), the neighborhood is safe. Interaction with guests:
You will be welcomed by Jumy (Taiwanese who lived in Nigeria and London for many years before moving to Milan) and her husband Francesco, Milanese. We love taking care of our guest, helping them to discover the best and unknown part of Milan and nearby, giving them advise and making them feel like at home. Jumy is Chinese mother tongue, both of us speaks fluently English and Francesco is Italian mother tongue and speak well French. We can be of help for work necessities, both on the language front and on the logistic - PR side of your trip, helping you to optimize your time and making your stay profitable and pleasant. If you are on a tourist trip we can assist you both in advises on where to go in Milan and Italy, and in giving you tips to make your journeys less fatiguing and expensive (shopping included!). A basic breakfast is already included in the price but we can prepare ad hoc breakfast and lunch or dinner depending on your taste (Jumy is a great cook!). Transportation: we can make your journey faster and less expensive, just ask us for more information. Piccolo Nido means Little Nest, your safe place whenever you pass by Milan! Other things to note:
Although QT8 is known to be one of the more quiet and green city's areas, we are the nearest point in Milan to reach Como Lake (35 min by car) and at just 1 min from the orbital road that lead to all the highways, making any trip out of the city extremely easy and fast. The neighborhood:
QT8 area developed from an experimental urbanization project that was conceived during the 8th edition of the Triennale di Milano design exhibition that was held in 1947, which included the realization of Monte Stella, an artificial hill just 3 min walks from Piccolo Nido house, which make the area one of the greenest districts in Milan, perfect for having a run or just to relax. We are also less than 10 min walks from the only Iper Supermarket in Milan, considered the best quality supermarket for food with a really wide choice at an affordable price.
