La simbiosi tra natura e cultura è il risultato che io e il mio staff ci prefiggiamo di ottenere : il rispetto ambientale e sociale guida le nostre scelte, investiamo in soluzioni e tecnologie per un uso consapevole delle risorse abbracciando la filosofia eco-sostenibile per ridurre il nostro impatto sull' ambiente. Gli spazi in cui la vita si svolge devono essere " luoghi " nel vero senso della parola : spazi dotati di caratteri distintivi. Il " Genius Loci " è lo spirito di questo luogo e il mio compito e quello del mio Team è quello di creare ambienti significativi : se il Genius Loci sopravvive alle modifiche dovute ai diversi assetti funzionali allora conferisce, a questo nostro Hotel, una villa di inizio 900 in stile liberty, un carattere indelebile, un piccolo storico monumento. Le presenze di fenomeni architettonici differenti in realtà si uniscono in un' unica riconoscibile esperienza, il cui valore , nel nostro caso è l' Ospitalità . Sentirsi parte di questa esperienza è come sentirsi a casa propria , il cui claim è " Il mio Nuovo Hotel , la mia Nuova Casa ". L' Hotel è sito in un quartiere tranquillo in posizione centrale, una vasta scelta di locali e ristoranti a pochi minuti,una strada commerciale con i marchi più prestigiosi, le chiese e i monumenti della Milano storica,Santa Maria delle Grazie, sede del Cenacolo Vinciano , il Teatro Nazionale , Feltrinelli e Mondadori , City Life e il nuovo Centro Congressi ed altro ancora...
Si inizia la giornata nel nostro panoramico roof garden assaporando una colazione ricca e variegata , che comprende, frutta, spremute e frullati, cereali e cibi biologici, un vasto assortimento di tè e tisane , il dolce e il salato, una linea di alimenti dietetici e per intolleranze. Che dire di più : Vi aspettiamo qui da Noi. I imagine Hotel Metro as a laboratory, a concept where I want to suggest an expressive path that refers to the historical memories of living. The value of persistence, the choice of materials, the way of treating them belongs to a design methodology linked to an aesthetic ethics of the past. The symbiosis between nature and culture is the result that my staff and I aim to achieve: environmental and social compliance guides our choices, we invest in solutions and technologies for a responsible use of resources embracing an eco-sustainable philosophy in order to reduce our impact on environment. The spaces in which life takes place should be "places" in the true sense of the word, spaces with distinctive characteristics. The "Genius Loci" is the spirit of this place and my job, together with my team, is to create significant environments: if the Genius Loci survives the changes due to the different functional structures, then it can give to our Hotel, an Art Nouveau villa , an indelible character, a small historic monument. Different architectural phenomena in fact are connected as a unique recognizable experience, the resulting value being hospitality. Feeling part of this experience is like being at home, our claim is "My New Hotel, my New Home." The Hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood in a central location, with a wide choice of bars and restaurants within a few minutes, a shopping street with the most prestigious brands, churches and monuments of historical Milan, Santa Maria delle Grazie, home of the Last Supper , the National Theatre, Feltrinelli and Mondadori, City Life and the new convention center and more ...
