The Neighborhood
Porta Romana is a neighborhood of Milan city center, among the most valued by Milano's people. Ideal for those who want to live like a local. An authentic neighborhood, livable, central and very well served by public transport. Lots of facilities, supermarket is very close, as well as cinema, pharmacy and restaurants of every kind, which will make you feel the real atmosphere of Milan. The Bocconi University and the University of Milan are very close, so the area is also rich in services, bars and pubs for the younger ones, while remaining a quiet neighborhood, not noisy and above all safe. The metro connects directly to the Duomo (3 stops) from where you can walk to the main historic attractions, and the Central Station (7 stops) with connections to the airports, and other underground lines.
