We were deeply saddened to be made aware of the passing of Pierfranco Galeone, a true icon of the pro audio industry and a cherished partner of Electro-Voice for more than 40 years.
With his company Texim, Pierfranco was more than a distributor. He was a driving force in shaping the professional audio landscape in Italy. Under his leadership, Texim received multiple accolades from Electro-Voice, including numerous ‘Distributor of the Year’ awards. These honors reflect not only outstanding business performance, but also the values he consistently embodied: integrity, friendship and respect.
Pierfranco often said that his journey in audio was never just about business. It was about people, about trust, about a deep love for music – and above all, about staying true to himself. As he once expressed it: “I tried to always be myself... relationships have always been true, genuine, and my hope is that of having left in all a good memory.”
Indeed, he left more than just a good memory. We are grateful for everything Pierfranco contributed to our shared history with such dedication. Our thoughts are with Camilla and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
