Il fascino dei colori settembrini, quasi autunnali, crea una sorta di atmosfera rarefatta, quasi sospesa, ed i soliti scorci della masseria ti rimandano sempre a nuove suggestioni, nuove sfumature.

È il bello della vacanza in autunno qui da noi: giornate tiepide, cielo terso, borghi incantati e una gran voglia di relax e serenità.

The charm of the September colours, almost autumnal, creates a sort of ethereal, almost suspended atmosphere, and the familiar views of the masseria always evoke new impressions and new shades.

That’s the beauty of an autumn holiday here with us: balmy days, clear skies, enchanting villages and a great desire for relaxation and serenity.

Non ci era mai capitato di avere ospiti due Vespisti, che da Monaco di Baviera girano l’Italia in Vespa.
Grandi!

Ci ha fatto molto piacere che abbiano scelto la nostra masseria per quattro giorni di soggiorno, luogo strategico per andare in giro a visitare i borghi della Valle d’Itria.

Abbiamo sempre pensato che la nostra costa, da Polignano e Monopoli fino alla costa di Ostuni, potesse essere chiamata “Costa Verde“.

Quasi a farne un brand, perché è la verità: Porto Verde, dalle acque verde smeraldo, è a soli 15 minuti di auto dalla nostra masseria!
Un vero privilegio per tutti i nostri ospiti.

We’ve always thought that our coastline, stretching from Polignano and Monopoli to Ostuni, could be called the ‘Costa Verde’.

It’s almost as if it were a brand name, because it’s true: Porto Verde, with its emerald-green waters, is just a 15-minute drive from our masseria!
A real treat for all our guests.

… che dire di fronte a queste bellissime foto? Se non la verità!

Stavamo cercando il modo più bello per comunicare ai nostri ospiti del refrigerio che la nostra doccia esterna, così olistica in mezzo al verde del frutteto, può offrire a chi soggiorna da noi.

E poi, del tutto inaspettate, queste foto riservate di una nostra giovanissima ospite, che ci dà autorizzazione a pubblicarle: foto che trasmettono per intero la gioia e la naturalezza di docciarsi, mentre tutto fuori è caldo, quasi a percepire lo scroscio rinfrescante dell’acqua sul corpo.

We had been looking for the perfect way to show our guests the refreshing experience offered by our outdoor shower—a truly holistic feature nestled amidst the greenery of the orchard.

Then, completely unexpectedly, we received these private photos from a very young guest who gave us permission to share them.
They perfectly capture the joy and natural ease of showering outdoors in the heat—almost letting you feel the refreshing rush of water on your skin.

Quando si insegue un’idea di bellezza e perfezione il rischio è di perdere un po’ dell’anima delle nostre antiche costruzioni.

Qui in masseria si è cercato di restituire l’aura del valore dell’antico, semplicemente: accettando anche l’imperfezione o il dettaglio non definito.

Ed è solo allora che l’energia della pietra arriva e coinvolge il proprio cuore.

“E se ravvivassimo i giochi dell’acqua con delle ninfee galleggianti a pelo d’acqua?“, qualcuno domandò !

Ed ecco fatto.

Ninfee fiorite nella nostra fontanella, in attesa di colorati pesciolini rossi.

E i ricordi si moltiplicano e tornano indietro ad un’ infanzia beata, mentre si giocava nella fontana della villa comunale di Monopoli, a cercare di acchiappare guizzanti pesciolini rossi ...

Un angolo di poesia ritrovata .

And there you have it.

Blooming water lilies in our little fountain, waiting for colourful goldfish.

And memories multiply, taking us back to a blissful childhood, playing in the fountain at Monopoli’s town gardens, trying to catch the darting goldfish...

Sotto il sole cocente di questo maggio surriscaldato, la vasca d’acqua ci dà una sensazione di leggerezza e freschezza: meravigliosa anche come esperienza sensoriale.

È quiete e relax il suono dell’acqua che scorre e “...ci è dolce il naufragar, oltre i pensieri “. (cit. libera de "L’Infinito" di G.Leopardi).

Under the scorching sun of this sweltering May, the water basin gives us a sense of lightness and freshness: it is also a wonderful sensory experience.

E’ una prospettiva della masseria che ci colpisce sempre: per lo spettacolo delle piante in fiore, per la luce del cielo terso, per la serenità che evoca.

Ci piace che i nostri ospiti possano godere di questa armonia, ma ci piace condividerla con tutti voi anche qui.

Fiori, colori ed essenze tutt’intorno, qui in masseria: se solo potessimo farvi sentire il profumo delicato del glicine, quello inebriante del mandarino in fiore, degli iris e di tutti i fiori sbocciati, saremmo felici di condividerli con tutti voi.
