L’affinamento del Brunello è un rito.
Parte da scelte accurate, di legni, capacità delle botti, mastri bottai. Per finire con il tempo e la pazienza, dove poco possiamo fare se non aspettare che il vino trovi la sua maturità.
Ecco perché il tempo è così importante a Montalcino.
The ageing of Brunello is a ritual.
It starts with careful choices of wood, barrel capacity and master coopers. It ends with time and patience, where there is little we can do but wait for the wine to reach maturity.
That is why time is so important in Montalcino.

È arrivato il momento anche per noi di prenderci una pausa.
Le porte del nostro boutique hotel resteranno chiuse per il periodo invernale, ma dietro le quinte stiamo già preparando la nuova stagione.
Ci fermiamo un attimo, ma continuiamo a tessere le fila per i mesi a ve**re, pronti ad accogliervi in primavera con nuovi sorrisi e quel l’ospitalità sincera che ci contraddistingue.
The time has come for us to take a break too.
The doors of our boutique hotel will remain closed for the winter, but behind the scenes we are already preparing for the new season.
We are slowing down for a moment, but we continue to plan for the months ahead, ready to welcome you in spring with new smiles and the sincere hospitality that sets us apart.

Oggi ha inizio la 34ª edizione di Benvenuto Brunello.
Ed è sempre un’emozione nuova: il momento in cui le annate che abbiamo accudito in silenzio possono finalmente essere svelate e raccontate.

Siamo pronti a farvi assaggiare in anteprima il nostro Brunello e la Riserva, vini che portano con sé il ritmo delle stagioni e il racconto di vendemmie a tratti sfidanti, che hanno richiesto energia, cura ed esperienza.

Saremo presenti dal 22 al 24 novembre nelle affascinanti sale del Chiostro di Sant’Agostino, a Montalcino: un luogo che sembra fatto apposta per far parlare i vini. Qui sarà possibile degustare in anteprima assoluta Brunelli e Riserve che arriveranno sul mercato solo tra qualche mese, cogliendone per primi le sfumature ancora giovani, i profumi che stanno prendendo forma e il carattere che inizia a rivelarsi.
Today marks the opening of the 34th edition of Benvenuto Brunello, an event that never fails to stir new emotions. It is the moment when the vintages we have patiently and quietly nurtured finally step into the light, ready to be revealed and shared.
We are delighted to present a preview of our Brunello and Riserva: wines that capture the rhythm of the seasons and the stories of harvests that were, at times, demanding, requiring dedication, care, and expertise.

You will find us from November 22nd to 24th in the enchanting rooms of the Cloister of Sant’Agostino in Montalcino, a setting seemingly crafted for letting great wines speak for themselves. Here, you can discover Brunellos and Riservas that will reach the market only in a few months, giving you the privilege of being among the first to experience their youthful nuances, evolving aromas, and character just beginning to unfold.

È con grande piacere che annunciamo che la rivista Gambero Rosso ha nominato ABFV (Alejandro Bulgheroni Family Vineyards) “Cantina dell’Anno” nella sua guida Vini d’Italia 2026: un onore straordinario e il riconoscimento più prestigioso che la Guida assegna ogni anno.
A ricevere il premio è stato l’intero progetto: Dievole, Tenuta Meraviglia, Tenuta Le Colonne, Poggio Landi, Podere Brizio.

Espressione di una singola parcella, appena un ettaro e mezzo nell’omonima vigna che si distingue per una composizione del suolo unica. Nasce così il Cru Bosco Alto Brunello di Montalcino, alla sua prima vendemmia la 2019.

Un vigneto in cui nella parte più alta alterna alterna sabbie e arenarie plioceniche
in superficie, calcare e conglomerati marini in profondità. Qui, solo in questa zona risale l’antica formazione di Santa Fiora, permettendo alle radici delle viti di raggiungerla. Questo conferisce al vino una complessità e un carattere unici.
Una piccola produzione di appena 3.000 bottiglie, un nuovo racconto.
An expression of a single parcel - just one and a half hectares - in the namesake vineyard distinguished by its unique soil composition. Thus was born the Cru Bosco Alto Brunello di Montalcino, with its debut vintage in 2019.

At the top of this vineyard, the surface alternates Pliocene sands and sandstones, with limestone and marine conglomerates deeper down. Only in this area does the ancient Santa Fiora formation surface, allowing the vine roots to reach it. This gives the wine exceptional complexity and character.
A limited production of just 3,000 bottles a new story to tell.
