👋 Hello September!
The month when summer slows down… but doesn’t quite leave ☀️

Here in Le Marche, September still feels very much like summer. Days can still reach around 30°C, the beach is calling, and evenings are warm enough for dinner outside under the stars. ✨

At CarloCarla, we’re enjoying the very best of late summer.

But September in Le Marche is about more than sunshine. Small villages come alive with local food, music, long tables and traditional celebrations. From one village sagra or festa to the next, there’s always another reason to eat, drink and celebrate together. 🇮🇹

And there’s plenty happening this September:

🍷 September 12: Wine festival Divina Harmonia in Monte San Pietrangeli

👨‍🍳 The passion and craft of Chef Carlo

For us, Le Marche is about bringing together the things we love most. At our restaurant CarloCarla, they all come together:

Carlo began his career as a chef, working in some of the Netherlands' top kitchens. After completing a 4-year degree in hospitality education, he went on to spend 18 years teaching the next generation of hospitality professionals.

Today, he has the space to cook in the way he loves most. From fish, meat, shellfish and game to pastry and desserts, Chef Carlo does it all himself.

Inspired by the ingredients and recipes of Italy and Le Marche, with his own style and experience.
