Love these days! Our 2023 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and 2024 Rosso di Montepulciano are bottled and ready to rest. We’re especially proud of the 2023 Nobile because it was a tough year in terms of the harvest - but the wine speaks for itself because only the best grapes were used to make the final product. It still has to spend some months in the bottle, so don’t get too excited 😉, but know that we’re taking care of them until they are ready to sell.

Do you need an elegant and well balanced red wine to warm up the last few days of winter before Spring really arrives? We’re very happy to announce that our 2023 Rosso di Montepulciano DOC (BIO) is now available for sale.

Unlike the 2022, the 2023 vintage is 100% Sangiovese, which is exactly how we like it ;-) It was aged for 6 months in steel tanks and another 12 months in a mixture of second fill and old barrels (mostly barriques), but then also spent another 12 months ageing in the bottle, before it’s release now, in 2026.

The 2023 Rosso di Montepulciano has a fruity nose with notes of plum and red fruit, and the slightly longer than usual ageing process has resulted in a wonderfully well-balanced wine, that tends more towards elegance than freshness. It pairs well with cured and grilled meats as well as medium-aged cheeses.

We had such a great night at .piazzadellerbe last night, it felt like we were out with a group of friends. Lovely to meet new people and get re-acquainted with others. Thank you so much to the lovely Silvia and Sanchez who made us feel at home.

We had so much fun at the wine expo that we forgot our certificate there 🤣🤣. Very happy overall with the feedback from a huge variety of participants. The BIO philosophy is very important to us so it was a really special night spent with like minded wine makers. Hopefully we’ll be able to return next year.

We’re really excited to be presenting our wines at tomorrow’s Guida Bio 2026 event in Rome. Our 2022 Nobile di Montepulciano achieved a Gold Leaf and our 2022 Rosso di Montepulciano came very, very close! They will both be available for tasting tomorrow and there will be a little surprise as well - scroll to the end to see what’s cooking!
