The location couldn’t be better: private, tranquil position with fenced garden, Poggio Rosemary is at 40 minutes ( 35 km ) south from Florence, with easy access to the charming Chianti hill towns, at 50 minutes ( 50 km ) from Siena and 1.20 hour ( 75 km ) from Lucca. Well-appointed, spacious villa, authentically restored and surrounded by olive groves, Poggio Rosemary is perfect for couples or fam

ily up to 8 persons. A typically country road brings you to Poggio Rosemary, through vineyards and olive groves and a 4x4 car is not necessary but we inform that this road is not suitable for low slungars. A car is necessary to reach the property, in fact it is located at a distance of 5 km from the village. The original building (the first historical evidence) dates back approximately to one thousand years ago and is part of the Borgo di Voltiggiano ( a group of about 10 properties ) located in this area. For this reason Poggio Rosemary is not isolated , in fact at about 100 meters from the property there is the villa of the owner and not far away there are other properties of the Borgo, all inhabited. Poggio Rosemary and the villa of the owner are not connected and are separated by their gardens, and by an high hedge; therefore privacy is 100% guaranteed. Poggio Rosemary has been restored a few years ago so meticulous and attentive to details in order to preserve the historical character of the original structure. The property is entirely fenced and measures about 1 hectare. The villa is about 450 sqm, the pool measures 5 x 10 meters and is open May to September. The lawn is bordered with roses bushes, cypresses and olive trees. A large patio next to the pool provides shadow during hot days. Sun beds and pool towels are available for 8 guests. Attached to the house there are two other patios, one furnished with table and chairs for al fresco dining and a second one, furnished with comfortable lounge chairs for relaxing moment. The pool has salted water and a pool cover which can be used to keep the water warm during the night. Other facilities available for our guests: 4 mountain bikes ( with helmets ), professional BBQ and TechnoGym fitness centre located in the basement of the villa. The owner of the property produces Extra Virgin Olive Oil which can be purchased on site.
