Villa Gilda: a place of beauty and charm

Surrounded by a terraced garden, with citrus fruit, lush flowers and 8000 sqm olive grove, Villa Gilda overlooks the beautiful Versilia coast. An oasis of silence and style, a real natural paradise set on the hills at the feet of the Apuan Alps, only 5 km far from Forte dei Marmi and the sea

The lush garden, studded with Mediterranean plants, citrus and flowers, enables guests to enjoy many corners to regenerate and to live a relaxing time. There is a heated pool, equipped with beach umbrellas and deck loungers, there is a viewpoint that offers a breathtaking 360° view of the coast, there is a large terrace with armchairs and tables where you can have breakfast or enjoy an aperitif at sunset. For fitness enthusiasts, a shady corner gym equipped with Technogym machines has been created, and for those who want to indulge themselves in some more pampering, there is a comfortable sauna with an outdoor shower, surrounded by greenery, behind the house.

The same care to the garden and the swimming pool is also reflected by the interiors’ stylistic choices. The elegant common areas include two large living rooms where guests can relax by watching TV or reading a book around the fireplace, and the breakfast area with the large, fully equipped, open kitchen. The refined atmosphere is also enhanced by the color choice, with light shades of beige and gray, and by the furnishings, enriched with vintage pieces and Italian design accessories dating back to the ’50s and’ 60s.

Attention to details can also be found in the suites, each one of them has been arranged in an exclusive way, but all have sea view and are equipped with en-suite bathrooms. Each room is exclusive and original, with custom furnishings and accessories, pieces of art and Italian design. You will always find fresh flowers and many other little details to make you feel pampered, such as a kettle with a selection of teas and herbal teas; our lady guests will also find everything they need to remove their make-up: cosmetic pads, cotton wool and tissues.
