Thanks to its great location, incredibly warm atmosphere, spacious and comfortable rooms and welcoming and friendly staff, Hostel of the Sun is also often voted amongst the best hostels in the world at the annual Hoscars awards. We are also proud to have been recently selected as a member of the Europe's Famous Hostels network. We have every type of accommodation to fit your needs, from dorm rooms to private doubles with ensuite bathrooms. As soon as you arrive at Hostel of the Sun one of our staff will sit down with you and explain everything there is to know about and do in Naples: including suggesting places to visit, most delicious places to eat and will help you plan out every moment of your stay in and around Naples. Our common room and kitchen provide an open atmosphere for mingling and making new friends from all over the world. In the evening everybody crowds around our in-house bar for the Happy Hour and the (fast becoming…) world-famous Rocktails! We also have a well-equipped guest kitchen, provide free breakfast, free linen and free WiFi throughout. Hostel of the Sun is located in the safest part of Naples city centre and just a few steps from the ferry terminal in the port and bus terminal for Pompei and the Amalfi Coast and a short bus trip away from train station. We provide all the help you need to visit Pompeii and Herculaneum, the Amalfi Coast and Vesuvius as well as organising amazing boat trips around the beautiful island of Capri.

🚌 Arriving in Naples by bus? Getting to Hostel of the Sun is super easy! ☀️

If you’re travelling to Naples by FlixBus, Itabus or another intercity bus, you’ll usually arrive at Napoli Metropark Bus Terminal, located right behind Napoli Centrale.

From the bus terminal, walk towards Napoli Centrale / Garibaldi and follow the signs for Metro Line 1 – Garibaldi. 🚇

Take Metro Line 1 towards Piscinola and get off at Municipio. It’s only 3 stops:

Garibaldi → Duomo → Università → Municipio

📍 Once you arrive at Municipio, Hostel of the Sun is just about a 5 minute walk away, at Via Guglielmo Melisurgo 15.

🚌 Bus arrival: Napoli Metropark
📍 Corso Arnaldo Lucci 156
🚇 Metro: Line 1 – Garibaldi → Municipio

🚆 Getting to Hostel of the Sun from Napoli Centrale couldn’t be easier! ☀️

Arriving in Naples by train? You’re only a few stops away from us!

Once you arrive at Napoli Centrale, follow the signs inside the station for Metro Line 1 – Garibaldi. 🚇

Take Metro Line 1 towards Piscinola and get off at Municipio. It’s only 3 stops:
Garibaldi → Duomo → Università → Municipio

📍 Once you arrive at Municipio, Hostel of the Sun is just about a 5-minute walk away, at Via Guglielmo Melisurgo 15.

🎟️ You can buy your metro ticket at the station before boarding.
🚇 Only 3 metro stops
🚶 Around 5 minutes on foot from Municipio
🧳 Easy even if you’re travelling with luggage!

And when it’s time to leave Napoli, getting back to Napoli Centrale is just as simple walk back to Municipio, take Metro Line 1, and get off at Garibaldi for the Central Station.

✈️ Getting to Hostel of the Sun from Naples Airport couldn’t be easier! ☀️

Once you arrive at Naples Capodichino Airport, simply walk to the Alibus stop just outside the airport and take the bus towards the city centre. 🚌

📍 Get off at Molo Angioino / Beverello (Port). The journey takes approximately 25–30 minutes, and from there, Hostel of the Sun is only about a 5-minute walk away at Via Guglielmo Melisurgo 15.

🎟️ Alibus ticket: €5 per person
💳 Cash or card accepted
🚫 No advance reservation needed — you can simply get on and pay directly to the driver.
🕠 Alibus services start at around 5:30 AM, run frequently throughout the day (approximately every 5–10 minutes) and continue until around 11:50 PM.

And when it’s time to say goodbye to Napoli, getting back to the airport is just as easy: walk back to the Beverello Alibus stop and take the bus directly to the airport. ✈️

Airport → Alibus → Beverello → 5-minute walk → Hostel of the Sun ☀️

No stress, no complicated connections — just a few easy steps and you’re here.
