Hidden within the quiet rhythm of nature is a small, golden story — the story of honey.

For Fabian, beekeeping is not simply about producing honey for the hotel. It is a passion rooted in respect for the delicate balance of nature. Each hive he tends is a living community, a reminder that even the smallest creatures carry immense importance for the world around us.

From early spring, when the first blossoms open, the bees begin their tireless work. They travel from flower to flower, collecting nectar and, in doing so, quietly sustaining the surrounding landscape. Orchards bloom richer, wildflowers multiply, and the garden thrives — all thanks to their invisible work.

Fabian cares for his bees, understanding that honey is not something to be taken, but something to be shared with gratitude. The honey combs shared at breakfast carry more than sweetness; they hold the essence of the seasons, the fragrance of the flowers, and the gentle harmony between humans and nature.

For him, beekeeping is a way of giving back. By protecting the bees, he helps protect the ecosystem that surrounds the hotel — ensuring that gardens continue to flourish, landscapes remain vibrant, and the quiet rhythm of nature can carry on.

Kaum aufgewacht, ist da schon wieder dieses Gefühl. Breites Grinsen, rote Wängchen und Herzchenaugen. Es nennt sich Vorfreude und hier im Hirben gewöhnt man sich recht schnell daran. Die Vorfreude auf das, was der Tag so bringt, ist beispielsweise eine davon. Und vorher noch ist es mit Sicherheit die aufs leckere Hirben-Frühstück. Nicht übertrieben, aber genau richtig.
