During A Taste of Umbria, the truffle hunt becomes more than an experience in the Umbrian hills. Together with a local guide and his dog, you’ll head into the woods around the Borgo in search of black truffle, a moment of quiet focus, earthy scents and the thrill of uncovering something hidden beneath the soil. What you find in the forest is exactly what returns with you to the Borgo, carefully cleaned, weighed and prepared in our kitchen.

The truffle you uncover in the earth becomes part of your lunch, folded into a delicious Italian dish that celebrates the flavours of the season. A true forest to table moment, shared with the group and created with the freshest ingredients.

We’re gently shifting into a new rhythm at the Borgo, one that brings the focus back to the kitchen. Ingredients are being prepared, menus refined and the aprons freshly steamed for the upcoming cooking workshops.

The kitchen is slowly coming to life again as everything falls into place. The pans warming up, and the flavours of Umbria returning to centre stage.❤️

A weekend where love filled every corner of the Borgo, turning each moment into a memory to hold onto.

Yannick and Floortje brought their friends and family to Umbria for a weekend full of good food, long dinners and a very full dance floor. From the first drinks to the last song of the night, there was a constant sense of celebration around the Borgo. And in between it all, they even made their own millefoglie.🍰

A big party, a beautiful setting and plenty of reasons to raise a glass, wrapped in the kind of love and joy that made every moment feel a little magical.🥂
