Guests can enjoy a simple but delicious breakfast, and experience hospitality interpreted as an indescribable feeling, a lifestyle, and a disposition to welcome people to their home with open arms. Everything in this B&B was made for blissful relaxation.

A little throwback to last season, straight from Alexandra's camera roll. Snowy trails, quiet white mornings, and that impossibly blue Dolomite sky 😍 Every year around now, we catch ourselves scrolling back through these, counting down.

Only twelve rooms here, and we like it that way 🥰

Fewer rooms means more care in each one: original wood, design pieces chosen by hand, and space to actually breathe. Nothing standard, nothing rushed. Just twelve little worlds, each looked after like it's the only one.

Our favourite room before the day gets going.

Tables set, coffee happening, that soft morning light doing its thing. No buffet, no queue, no rush. Just a table that's yours and breakfast brought right to it. Good local stuff, one thing at a time.

Honestly? The first half hour of the day is everything. 🤍 So we never rush it :)

A little winter daydreaming 🥹

Golden October outside, but we're already picturing this: snowy trails, silent white peaks, and slow mornings with a chill at the window. Winter in Ortisei is worth every bit of the wait.

Happy news :) We've opened a little shop: a small, curated corner where you can take a piece of Val Gardena home with you. Totes, caps, tees and postcards, all made with the lovely people at TRIIINA DESIGN triiina.com, whose whole idea is "design from tradition." Very much our language.

We're not rushing autumn away, we promise... but we'd be lying if we said we weren't dreaming a little :)

Snowy trails with Jack leading the way, quiet white mornings, and that first run of the season — we can't wait for any of it. Winter here has a magic that's hard to explain until you've felt it.

A little walk through one of our rooms :)

No clutter, no TV, nothing shouting for attention. Just 1930s Rationalist bones, warm original wood, a few honest black-steel additions, and design pieces we chose with care, like the vintage Halabala armchairs. The mountains in the window do the rest.

A small change, and a big thank you. 🤍

From this winter, the bar at Casa al Sole becomes a space just for our house guests. It's a choice that lets us take better care of those staying with us, and live these rooms at a calmer pace.

But first, we want to thank all of you who've stopped by over the years: for a glass of w**e, an aperitivo, or simply some time together. It's been a real pleasure having you here and sharing these moments with you.

Da questo inverno il bar di Casa al Sole diventa uno spazio dedicato solo ai nostri ospiti di Casa. Una scelta pensata per prenderci più cura di chi soggiorna con noi e per vivere questi spazi con più calma.

Prima di allora, però, vogliamo dire grazie a tutti voi che in questi anni siete passati a trovarci: per un bicchiere di vino, un aperitivo, o semplicemente per due chiacchiere. È stato un vero piacere avervi qui e condividere questi momenti con voi.
